How We Use This Information
Contact Us submissions are used only to get back to you about the question or message you sent.
Registration and Player Interest submissions are used to build tryout and team rosters, manage team communication, and set players up in GameChanger for schedules and game management. Camp registrations are used to run the camp and to contact you about it.
If you give us an email address on a registration or camp form, we also use it to tell you about tryout dates, camp dates, promotions, and other Bay Area Baseball news, as described under Email Communications below.
Email Communications
By registering, creating a parent portal account, or otherwise giving us your email address, you agree to receive email from Bay Area Baseball. This is not limited to team-specific communications like schedules and roster updates -- it may also include tryout dates, camp dates, club news, marketing, and promotions.
When you submit a registration or camp form with an email address, we add that address to our mailing list. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and clicking it stops future marketing email from us. Messages about your own registration or account, such as confirmations and password resets, are not marketing and do not include one.
We do not sell or rent your email address to anyone outside Bay Area Baseball.
Text Messaging
Bay Area Baseball sends text messages only to parents and guardians who have asked for them. Messages are about the team your player is on: practice and game changes, cancellations, field changes, and occasional club announcements. We do not send marketing or sales texts.
You can turn texts on by signing in to the parent portal at bayareaprobaseball.com/portal, entering your mobile number, and ticking the box that asks whether you want to receive them. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of registering, of playing, or of buying anything.
Message frequency varies and depends on what is happening with your team. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, and HELP for help. You can also turn texts off at any time in the parent portal under My Account.
Mobile numbers collected for text messaging are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing. They are shared only with the messaging provider that delivers the texts on our behalf.
Where Your Information Is Stored
Contact Us, Registration and Camp Registration form submissions are sent to JotForm, a third-party online form platform. This website also keeps its own record of each registration or camp sign-up (the player’s name, the contact details you gave, and the program or camp), and, only if you ask for one, a parent portal account. Email addresses on our mailing list are stored in an email tool that runs on this website’s own servers. JotForm’s own handling of your data is described in its Privacy Policy. How Long We Keep It
We keep submitted information indefinitely, since it supports ongoing roster management, team history, and returning-player records from year to year. If you'd like your information removed, contact us using the information below.
Who Has Access
Access to submitted information is limited to Logan Wells and a vetted website contractor who maintains this site and its form integrations. We do not sell your information, and we don't share it beyond what's needed for the program operations described above.
Children’s Information
Our programs serve players under 18. Registration, Player Interest and Camp Registration forms may include a minor player's name, age or date of birth, submitted by a parent or guardian on the player's behalf, along with the parent or guardian's own name and contact details. We do not put a child's name in our mailing list. This information is used solely for roster management and team communication, as described above.

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if the information we collect or how we use it changes. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
