A right-handed pitcher out of East Lake High School in Tarpon Springs, Cooper played at Florida State before continuing at Polk State College and then Eckerd College. In his 2025 season at Eckerd he appeared in 13 games with two starts, striking out 26 across 22.1 innings, and he earned Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll recognition in both 2024 and 2025.

A Bay Area alum himself, Cooper works with BAPB pitchers at The Spot Athletic Center, coaching the same developmental path he came up through.
