Featured Players of the Week

This has become something I genuinely look forward to each week—a chance to sit down, reflect, and recognize some of the outstanding players and families in our organization. This week, we’re excited to highlight two of our local high school players: Carter Devito and Franklyn Rosa.

Carter Devito

Carter is a standout at Palmetto High School, and I’ve been lucky enough to coach him for most of his baseball career. He’s consistently demonstrated his hitting ability, which really came together last year when he was one of the top hitters on the JV team at Palmetto. He carried that momentum into the summer with our 2027 Bay Area Show Scout Team, where he not only excelled but also emerged as a leader. I’m incredibly proud of Carter’s growth and look forward to helping him pursue college baseball. His family, including his parents Jon and Sarah, have been a wonderful part of our community, and I’m grateful for our connection. Keep an eye on his younger brother Tucker, who’s already looking solid on our 10U team!

Franklyn Rosa

Frankie is the type of player who lights up any room with his infectious smile. He’s been blessed with exceptional athleticism, and we’ve worked together to fine-tune his skills over the past few years. I’ve known Frankie since he was young, and it’s been amazing to watch him grow into the player and person he is today. Frankie plays at Southeast High School, where he’s been on the varsity team since his freshman year. His dedication and talent give me high hopes for his future at the next level, as long as he stays focused. A special shoutout to his mother, who goes above and beyond to ensure Frankie can always be on the field, with the help of Coach Skip and others.

In summary, Carter and Frankie are perfect examples of why Bay Area Baseball is special. It’s not just the players, but also the families, who make this organization great. They trust us as coaches to support their kids, and we’re committed to helping them achieve their goals. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and be on the lookout for next week’s featured players!

Best,
Coach Logan

SCROLL DOWN FOR FORMER FEATURED PLAYERS

Jayden Peters is an exceptional young man with a wide range of talents. He’s a strong, gifted athlete, and we’ve been fortunate to have him not only as part of our team but also as a leader in the dugout. Personally, it has been nothing but an honor to coach Jayden. We’re currently in the process of discussing options with colleges to find the best fit for him. I have no doubt that he will excel at the next level.

Camden Pope is another special individual in our program. I’ve had the privilege of coaching Cam since he was 13 years old, and it has been rewarding to watch him grow into the athlete and young man he is today. We’ve recently started the college recruiting process for him, and like Jayden, I am confident he’ll find success at the next level.

Being around baseball all the time, you witness the good, the bad, and the challenges. We’ve all faced trials and tribulations in life and in sports. Both Jayden and Camden have always shown respect, worked hard, and given their all on the field. They come from great families, to whom they owe much of their success. I’m a fan of both of these players, and as always, our coaching staff and I will do everything we can to help them succeed.
